iOS 8 Beta 2 Goes Live for the Developers

June 2, 2014, Apple geared up developers with the launch of iOS8 at WWDC and delivered them with Beta 1 version. And its two weeks following, Apple is back again with their Beat 2 version for developers.


iMore reports that the new version of update went live on Tuesday June 17 and is available to developers via Apple’s iOS Dev Center or with on-device updating . iOS 8 is coming up with bunch of new features way ahead –

  • Health app

  • Updated Safari

  • Enhanced Messages features

  • Design tweak features in Mails

  • Changes in the Notifications

  • Family sharing

  • Customized keyboards

  • Home automation app

Hence, developers look ahead to rely on these Betas to make sure their apps jam up well with new iOS 8 after its live version comes out. As per release notes, published by BGR, Beta 2 version is likely going to deal with the bugs in the OS with a long list of items that needs a fix.

If history repeats itself, then developers are going to get some more beta versions likely before the consumer launch in the falls. Though not aware of the exact release date, Apple wishes to unveil the curtains on September besides iPhone 6 making its debut.
